Hello Anita, can you introduce yourself in a few words ? 

My name is Anita, I am 37 years old and I have been working at DFi Service for 16 years. I work as an Accounting Assistant.

What is your professional background ?

I did all my schooling in Geneva and then did an apprenticeship as a commercial employee. I worked for the State of Geneva for 4 years before joining DFi as a Sales Assistant. In 16 years at DFi, I have been able to evolve in several departments, starting with sales where I stayed for 3 years. I then became Order Fulfillment Manager for 6 years and eventually joined the accounting department in 2015. Whenever I had time, I also worked with the Internet Level 1 support.

Why did you choose to join DFi Service ?

When my work contract at the State of Geneva came to an end, I applied for a position at DFi as a Sales Assistant. And how small the world is : one of my former colleagues was the sister-in-law of the HR manager at the time.

What do you like most about your job ? 

Accounting is not an industry with a lot of twists and turns, but I would say that the atmosphere within a team is paramount to wanting to get up every morning and head to the office.

What is a typical day for you ?

All my days are punctuated according to my desires or my mood. This is the advantage of DFi, you create your own day.

A project that makes you proud ?

I am proud of all my department changes within the company. I have learned, grown and evolved professionally with each change. I had to adapt to new teams, a new daily routine, new processes… I was proud to take up the challenge every time and to find my place in all the departments I visited.

Describe yourself in 3 words ?

Dynamic, good interpersonal skills and organized.

What do you do when you are not working ?

I take care of my family, I am a mother of a 7 year old girl and I also love going out with my friends.

What job did you want to do as a child ?

Flight attendant.

A hidden talent ?

I think I sing pretty well, but it is obviously not the feeling of 99.9% of my colleagues…
