Portrait of Fabrice, Account Manager
Hello Fabrice, can you introduce yourself in a few words?
My name is Fabrice Giuliano and I have been with DFi Service since March 2019. After 3 years as a Pre-Sales Engineer, it is with great pleasure that I decided to move to the role of Account Manager. My objective is to recommend the most suitable solutions for our customers’ needs, while respecting their technical and financial requirements.
What is your professional background?
I started my professional career in 2007 as a Systems and Networks Engineer for an IT service provider, then after a few years I migrated to a commercial profile. This transition was a personal challenge as I did not come from a commercial background, but it enabled me to develop professionally.
Why did you choose DFi ?
I needed a new challenge and to get out of my comfort zone. Then I met several people from DFi, in particular Cédric, who at the time was responsible for Delivery. He convinced me to join the team thanks to his enthusiasm and positive energy. I immediately felt a family spirit which corresponded well to my values.
Before becoming Account Manager, you were a Pre-Sales Engineer at DFi for 3 years. What did you like most about your job ?
The fact of being a “hybrid” between sales and technology. It was a mix that allowed me to deepen my technical knowledge, while remaining in direct and permanent contact with our customers and prospects.
What was a typical day for you?
I start by sorting out my emails and then the essential “morning coffee” shared with my colleagues which allows me to get into shape. The rhythm of the day always depends on the projects in progress. For example, we may be focused for several days on responding to a call for tenders, or we may have to meet with prospects to understand their needs and present our offers, or work with our technical teams to define the best solution to propose to our clients. In the end, few days are the same and there is never a dull moment!
A project that makes you proud?
There is nothing more satisfying than to have positive feedback from a project deployed by our teams, no matter how big or small. My greatest pleasure is to know that the solution we have devised meets the needs and requirements perfectly, and even adds more value than initially planned, and that the deployment has gone well. We are at the service of the client, so their satisfaction is our priority.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
I love the saying “you can do things seriously, without taking yourself too seriously”, it fits my mindset pretty well.
What do you do when you are not working?
I developed a passion for sport a bit late in life, I do a lot of running, trail running and cycling at weekends and on my holidays. As I live at the foot of a mountain, I take the opportunity to get away to nature whenever I can.
What did you want to do as a child?
Not very original, but I wanted to be a professional footballer at the time So I didn’t have an injury that ruined my career as you often hear as an excuse but simply a lack of talent…
Any hidden talents?
I take great pleasure in beating my colleagues during our outings in Bowling, Karting, etc. I must admit that some of them try to resist as best they can…
Do you have a message for our future clients?
That they can have complete confidence in delegating all or part of their information system to our teams, who are all ultra-competent and 200% dedicated to guaranteeing data security and maintaining an excellent level of satisfaction.
